I am a us citizen pursuing a full-time role in the United States that presents professional challenges and leverages interpersonal skills, effective time management and problem-solving expertise. Varied agronomic experience as the agronomist for the Colombian Federation of Golf has provided me with extensive experience on identifying and solutioning agronomic problems with many different turf grass varieties and climates. Talented at selecting, training and leading staff to achieve the desired results. Successfully used these talents to direct a bunker and drainage project at an 18-hole course in Bogota. Fluent with the Spanish language.
The maintenance shop was a disaster. Equipment not properly maintained, no records, no organized inventory.
Upon reviewing the golf course it became pretty obvious that there were some problems with the irrigation. Even in a country that rains nine months of the year there was a water storage problem.
The greens when the course was renovated were given on a contract basis. The result was greens were planted with a mix of paspalum and common bermuda.
