I have 27 years of experience with utility design and construction management, with an emphasis in stormwater. My work with the private sector and municipalities has allowed a broad range of experiences. My early career included 9 years as a consulting design engineer and project manager. This design work was primarily focused on producing utility construction plans for local communities and providing construction services. During my time with the City of Boulder, I worked as a project manager and floodplain manager. For the last 16 years with the City of Loveland, I have been managing utility installation projects with small and large scale budgets. Projects involved extensive coordination with other city departments to collaboratively make the most of city funds and lessen impacts to the public. I take pride in my interactions with citizens and enjoy opportunities to understand and serve people’s needs. During my time with the City of Loveland, I have steadily increased my responsibilities and currently supervise a construction manager. In the last 6 years, I have been managing several large capital improvement projects requiring extensive collaboration with the city’s Water, Wastewater, and Streets Departments.
