OMICS techniques Applied to Aquaculture
Provide technical support to scientists, engineers and other professionals working in fields such as aquaculture, resource management, environmental protection, animal biology, microbiology, or may work independently in these fields.
Set up and conduct biological, microbiological and biochemical tests and laboratory analyses in support of research and quality control in aquaculture production.
Apply methods and techniques such as microscopy, histochemistry, chromatography, Reactive oxygen species detection, measure lipidic damage and other biochemical essays on fish organs and tissues.
Perform experimental procedures in aquatic animal husbandry and biological research.
Conduct field research and surveys to collect data and samples of water, soil, and plant and animal populations.
Conduct environmental monitoring and compliance activities for the protection of fisheries stock, wildlife and other natural resources.
Analyze data and prepare reports.
Manage operations of facilities which cultivate and harvest fish, shellfish or marine plants for replenishment of wildlife stocks or for commercial sale.
Identify requirements of the species and select and oversee preparation of site for species cultivation.
Co-ordinate selection and maintenance of brood stock
Determine food requirements and feeding regimes.

I am passionate about data sciences techniques using Python and the way how information contained in datasets cab be obtained to make decision and understand, explain and predicting phenomenons in aquatic animals and environments. I have seen many examples where researchers apply mathematical, computer and statistical knowledge and skills to analyze a lot of data from various sources, such as meta-analyses in which they review data published in the scientific literature to observe patterns and extract important information.
Currently I am not an Expert Python analyst but I am already taking training courses to learn how to program algorithms that help solve and respond relevant questions gathering quantitative and qualitative information together to draw conclusions. Now I am a basic programmer in Python however I will work hard to improve these skills in a short term.
