Clinical Experience

I have been working on Ortho/medsurg unit for two years, during that time, I have completed Q3mo RQI training, monthly CEUs, and spent 5 months on the telemetry unit learning cardiac rhythms and reporting to the primary nurses and hospitalists as needed. During school, I completed two community involvement courses alongside clinical experience, working with displaced women (ages 18-25) and alongside SANE professionals at the Tulsa Police Department. I have completed over 180 hours of community service work by graduation. Enhanced skills in treating diverse patients and addressing sensitive issues. Developed adaptability and cultural competency, reinforcing commitment to compassionate care. These experiences enriched my clinical skills, emphasizing empathy, cultural sensitivity, and flexibility in healthcare delivery.
