Support Engineering role to review GIS cubicles for various vendors.
Support Avangrid standardization group in the design and review of Air and SF6-insulated metal enclosed switchgear for substations, below to 34 kV through 4.8kV, clarifying and amending, where appropriate, the relevant standards and specifications applicable for the cubicles. Development of philosophy documents with the applications and considerations for the protection schemes, and the creation of different files such as input/output lists, terminal blocks list, nameplates that help the manufacturers to create schematic diagrams.
The GIS standardization includes 4 different manufacturers (Siemens, Ormazabal, Schneider, HICO), 4 different families of drawings according to the level of short circuit and nominal voltage of the cubicles and more than 10 different types of cubicles (feeder, union, partition, transformer, VT, etc).
