I am a member of a community advisory board (CAB) of a research project called Structural Conditions and Health After Release from Prison (SCHARP). SCHARP is a 5-year study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) led by doctors at Kaiser Permanente Colorado, the University of Colorado, and Denver Health. As a board member we meet once per quarter. We reviewed participant survey and study aims, we planned for recruitment and retention of participants, we drafted a logo and recruitment materials.
