Music is special for its ability to connect people. It creates a welcoming community where in addition to growing their musicianship and artistry, students cultivate relationships and develop life skills. My goals as a music educator are to ensure music is accessible for all students, to establish an accepting environment students are excited to be a part of, and to use music to better connect our school and community.
