Meaningful Projects:
Upper Division Instrument Lab - For this course I was required to complete a research project. I chose to conduct an experiment on second-hand smoke in my own home. I did so with a Handilaz mini particle counter and obtained meaningful data on how long dangerous particulates can linger in Boulder homes that are identically constructed.
Statistics and Geographic Data - In this course I was required to conduct a research project. As part of a group, I surveyed 200 volunteer students on their campus eating habits in conjunction with the amount of money they make, what they are studying, and where they live. I analyzed this data using regression analytics on R.
Hobbies and Interests:
My primary hobby is fiction writing. I've recently completed a 900 page first draft of a science fiction novel.
As a native Coloradoan, I also find myself enjoying outdoor activities such as paddle-boarding, hiking, and snow-tubing.
As a researcher, I would like to analyze precipitation trends in the front-range area in order to give back to my community.
