  • Collaborate with gas/electric design engineering, process field engineering, installations, replacements, high voltage facilities, plus water/wastewater design and development.
  • Utilize CSU’s gas, water and electric Standards and Rules and Regulations as they relate to CSU’s requirements and customer requests and their faculties.
  • Help customers to achieve energy efficiency goals for planning, budgeting and design via energy audit results including increased gas efficiencies, lower electric demand/usage, power factor savings, capital equipment replacement, control system upgrades.
  • Work directly with CSU operations for new process pipeline design and construction, outages, Enhanced Power Contracts, Operating Agreements, project management requirements, cost-management solutions, renewable strategies.
  • Stakeholder on the Rapid Response team with the City and the EDC/Chamber in helping primary and other employers identify areas within CSU that need completed. Worked with their contractors to ensure their facility and/or improvement progresses quickly.
  • Coordinate with the CSU officers to develop strategy, direction, leadership and commercial success for CSU service territory business.
  • Partnered with City of COS Park & Recreation on water conservation to reduce costs through continuous measurement applications/processes and sustainability practices.
  • Helped Colorado College on their combined gas generators to reduce electric demand and increase gas steam heating efficiencies to lower utility costs.
  • Analyze utility usages for customer design, meter capabilities for short/long term contracts and requirements, power plant utilization and load factors, coal and natural gas fuel alternatives, and other types of green fuel such as solar (Clear Spring Ranch facility).
