In this position, I provided supervision, leadership, and direction to all areas of School Leadership and Academic Achievement for District 6 including curriculum, instruction, assessment, dual credit attainment, professional learning, principal leadership, federal and state grants, special education, English language development, educational and informational technology, cultural excellence, athletics, and all associated budgets

• Oversee Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Learning – Supervise the alignment of K-12 curriculum, instructional practices, and professional development to enhance student achievement
• Supervise Early College High School - Partnered with a high education institution to ensure successful attainment for students to earn a two-year Associate of Arts Degree while earning a four-year high school diploma
• Oversee Career and Technical Education Compliance – Implement state and federal career and technical education (CTE) guidelines in collaboration with the Colorado Community College System
• Direct Strategic Planning - Facilitate the initiative for strategic planning in the district, fostering collaboration among stakeholders to develop a data-driven roadmap for sustainable growth and improve student outcomes
• Direct Strategic Funding Allocation – Ensure appropriate funding to support curriculum, assessments, special education, language learners, technology, cultural excellence, and professional development

In this position, I provided leadership and development of all literacy and social studies curriculum related functions K-12 including the development of curriculum and associated assessments in reading, writing, and social studies aligned to the Colorado State Standards, and collaboratively organized and provided leadership to literacy reform efforts K-12 within an MTSS model of tiered systems of support for all learners including English language development, special education, gifted and talented education, and general education students
