I am pursuing a position as a both a Metro swim coach and a Lifeguard. My strengths as a dedicated club team swimmer with over eight years of experience including state qualifications have led me to apply. My passion is to help young athletes grow, provide direction, and figure out what they enjoy. I have been part of amazing teams with very supportive coaches and role models. All the while, I also creating a safe and engaging environment for children as a baby sitter. In conclusion, I am committed to sharing my experience, and helping kids grow to achieve their swimming goals. In addition my small immersion in to life guarding as the summer ended gave me key knowledge to life guard in the future.
I worked through the MCA to demonstrate to kids my love for swimming, and teach them to love to swim as well. I got to work alongside lots of other coaches to teach kids how to improve their stroke while swimming, to become more efficient. While with other kids I helped them to gain comfort in the water and feel capable swimming a length across the pool, or being able to put their head under water while swimming. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to help young kids improve and succeed in swimming at competitive meets or at practice, where they could work on becoming a stronger swimmer.
