Participated in Regional Band qualifier and obtained a high rank through dedicated teamwork and coordination within the Arlington High School band. We moved up towards the Area qualifier for the state of Texas where despite putting on a good showing and achieving a high rank we did not qualify to move onto the state competition in 2023.

In my final year of highschool I had been asked to join Academic Decathlon by one of the AcDec coaches who had recognized my excellence in academic study and memorization. There we trained in a class of twenty-three for two semesters working on speeches, memorizing american history texts, discussing relevant artwork in the revolutionary era and learning to discern music pieces from that such same era to prepare for the battery of test we would be subject to on that topic for this year's contest. In the end I was one of the contestant chosen for the team and went on to win two gold and a bronze. While my team technically qualified to move onto a higher level, that year many other teams competed at a higher standard than the state threshold and we weren't selected to fill in the limited spots for our region.
