Summary

I am passionate about providing high quality, kind, empathetic, compassionate, non-judgemental care to every patient I encounter. I have years of professional experience working with marginalized communities and am constantly seeking to better understand my own biases so that I can care better for my patients. I have spent the last 2 years managing a medical staff, training nursing students and teaching new staff how to care well for patients and their sexual health.

My Guiding Principals

  • I am always seeking to learn more and challenge my own narratives and biases. I have had the incredibly opportunity for the past 4 years to learn and grow from the diverse community of patients that I care for. Despite some of my work history being in the context of a faith based non-profit, I have extensive knowledge in spiritual trauma and refuse to perpetuate that in how I care for my patients. You can be confident that I am always seeking to learn and do better and will not bring religious judgment to my job. I am firmly rooted in what it is to be responsible to others, not for them and so I can hold space for other's beliefs, free of judgement and full of compassion.
