In this position, I am responsible for dispatching emergency and non-emergent calls for Longmont Police and Fire. This includes taking 911 calls and dispatching the appropriate response between the police and fire department. I am also responsible for data research and confirmation for the police on patrol. Data consists of running background checks, driver history and eligibility, warrants, probation statuses, restraining orders etc. I maintain effective communication over the radio with police while at the same time taking calls and communicating with my teammates around me.

My duties mainly focused on calling hospitals, clinics, and doctors' offices in an effort to provide home INR monitoring services for their patients on blood thinners. Most of my day was spent speaking with them over the phone and providing information on our service, such as cost, reimbursement, testing compliance, and insurance eligibility.

I worked with doctors and nursing staff to help get their patients enrolled in INR testing from home. I onboarded practices and patients while speaking with them and submitting all of their information into our system. In addition to spending most of my day on the phone, my other main responsibility was submitting new patient orders that are sent to me from my practices.

I started in the Coverage Department, where I was responsible for calling law firms and independent attorneys in an attempt to onboard them with our service to provide stand in local counsel appearances for various civil litigation hearings. This involved speaking with the attorneys about our services and compensation, while walking them through the sign-up process on our website.

I later moved to the Customer Success Department, where my main focus was on assisting law firms with hearings they had posted with us for stand in appearances. Most of our communication was done via phone and email. I would also review and submit hearing reports that were sent in by our attorneys. My final role was as the head of Compliance. This position consisted of me performing audits for the law firms on service with us and communicating with compliance personnel on their end.
