Work History

Welder/Fabrication

Huntington Ingalls Industries
09.2012 - 06.2024

I was a lead welder/fabricator in sheetmetal for the building of aircraft carriers and submarines for 7 years. The next 5 years I became a full time welder/shipfitter at an off-site facility for the same company. It was carrier and submarine parts, instead of the entire ship. There is where I broadened my welding skill set. In this whole tenure for this company I was lead on all projects and received multiple awards ranging from early project completion to heath and safety. Stood in as make-up Forman for all Forman I worked for and was lead of our Safety Task Team at the off-site facility.
