Paxton Gerlach

I am a 17-year-old security enthusiast based in Denver, Colorado, with a deep passion for reverse engineering, cybersecurity, and software vulnerabilities. Over the years, I have honed my skills in various areas of security, particularly focusing on bypassing anti-virus systems and anti-cheat technologies, such as Riot's Vanguard and its rootkit-based anti-cheat. My expertise includes identifying vulnerabilities in software and Windows systems, enabling me to load unsigned drivers and manipulate memory to circumvent security measures.

Currently, I am expanding my technical knowledge through certifications with OFFSEC, including the PEN-200 and upcoming PEN-300 courses. Alongside my security work, I have developed websites and APIs for small businesses, leveraging my skills in front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js) development. One of my key areas of interest is strengthening the security of Windows executables by implementing anti-debugging, anti-VM, and encryption techniques to make them resistant to reverse engineering.

My drive for learning and my hands-on experience with system-level security vulnerabilities fuel my desire to continue exploring and contributing to the field of cybersecurity.
