Miracle League of Nevada
I have volunteered for Miracle League for 14 years. It's providing opportunities to anyone with disabilities to play baseball. I am a coach, my team is the Cardinals, with 14 to 19 kids, ages 3 to 70. It is so much fun to see any person with disabilities get excited to be able to have fun on a baseball field. We get buddies, they are people volunteering with helping a player by being by their side to help them play ball, some of them are parents,siblings,or kids from high schools. We have hotdogs,chips and snacks to buy. There are characters that show up to some of the games like Batman,The Avengers, Spiderman, Wonderwoman, Minnons, and Guardian of the Galaxy. Miracle League has a mascot, his name is Homer.
