Work Experience

Associate Lecturer – Griffith University School of Medicine 2021-2022

Duties include but are not limited to giving lectures on foundations of medicine, instructing student doctors during problem-based learning (PBL) sessions, assisting in anatomy labs, examining students during their objective structured clinical examinations (OSCE), and grading tests.


Teaching Assistant – The Ohio State University 2012-2016

Teaching assistant in both inorganic chemistry and introductory biology. Instructed laboratory sessions of 25 students for an Introductory Biology course targeted for pre-medicine and allied health students. I provided critique for midterm and final exam questions written by a lead professor. I was also responsible for holding weekly office hours and assisted in grading all class material.


Au Pair – Au Pair World 2016

Genoa, Italy. Fostered meaningful relationships with an Italian family and their twin children (age 12) as a stay-at-home nanny. I provided culturally competent care while being flexible to the needs of the children. I engaged in conversational English and Arabic languages with children to improve language skills as requested by the parents.
