Supervise a crew ranging from one to five employees
Landscape/irrigation design and installation
Including soil prep, sod installation, tree and shrub planting, low voltage lighting, ponds/water features, stone and brick walkways, patios, retaining walls, and fences
Draft, develop, implement and oversee all commercial and residential contracts for company
Interview and effectively participate in the hiring and termination of employees
Manage daily inventory of supplies to complete job tasks
Schedule work pertinent to current progress for company employees and subcontractors
Make sure that all work is being completed correctly and in a timely manner
Communicate and respond to all requests from customers, general contractors and subcontractors by scheduling meetings and answer telephones calls on a daily basis
Provide physical labor to make sure that jobs are completed in a timely manner and to customer satisfaction
On a weekly basis, educate and train employees on safety procedures to reduce injury and liability issues
Operate front loaders, backhoes, skid steers and other necessary equipment to complete daily tasks
On a weekly basis, ensure equipment is well-cared for and in optimal condition
Conduct snow removal on 8 commercial properties as needed
Manage company budget and send out customer invoices for billing
Ensure that employees are paid on a weekly basis.
