Self-leadership was a skill I developed as a grounds caretaker. Working independently with little supervision, we practiced 'I see - I do'. If we see something that needs to be done, then we do it, to ensure the cleanliness and playability of the course.
Fluidity of moving from task A to B and back to A. I needed to be flexible and multitask when we encountered golfers to ensure we stayed busy and stayed out of their way. Helping maintain a great customer experience, a smooth place of play, and a well-maintained course.
