Furthermore, as an English and Global Perspectives teacher, I followed the Teaching for Understanding (TFU) approach and the Cambridge curriculum. During that time, I gained extensive experience and skills in language teaching and in the implementation of interdisciplinary Global Perspectives projects.

  • As an English teacher, I worked with students of different ages and levels of language ability, using a variety of teaching techniques and materials to help them improve their communication skills in English. I used the Cambridge curriculum as a guide for the development of skills in areas such as grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening comprehension, and oral and written production.
  • As for my Global Perspectives experience, I worked with students on interdisciplinary projects that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. Following the TFU model, I designed projects that engage students in research and analysis of important global issues, such as sustainability, cultural diversity, and social justice. These projects allowed students to develop significant skills, such as the ability to ask questions, identify problems, and seek solutions in real contexts.
