Work History

Programming Specialist

MIRACORP
06.2023 - 06.2024

As an administrative assistant specializing in access control systems and physical security, I worked as the lead system administrator for region 8 Brivo Sites. The assigned region includes CO, MT, ND, SD, UT, and WY. In our BRIVO system, currently, we have 30K+ customers that we are accountable for daily. I have been consistently the go-to support for several government agencies and courts within the federal downtown buildings. Occasionally, I will be tasked to be on-call for the clients in 24/7 shifts and lead regional migration to a new access control system, which includes aiding with the inventory management of existing equipment to be replaced, scheduling, billing, and end-user training. I expertly utilized all computer and its related systems required to drive the infrastructure, A-panels, door boards, remote modems, HiD multiclass readers, and multiple types of access key cards. Additionally, I facilitated all tasks relating to the issuance of key cards, as requested, by officially designated GSA points of contact for each agency residing within the regional inventory. In the database management workflows, I helped establish and maintain a secure, accurate, and up-to-date repository of all issued key cards which were reported quarterly. If requested, I also conduct remote programming and troubleshooting of access control systems, to include on-site verification of issues. Ultimately, I ensure that the infrastructure remains stable and requests for outside users will be objectively evaluated on a case-by-case basis with approval exclusively coming from the designated GSA authority.
