  • Did appointments for Colorado Springs Utilities and Texas Meter and Device changing Electrical, Gas, and Water meters. During this job I was certified to exchange electrical meters. There were times I did mass production but majority I worked appointments and I did a lot of working with customers to make sure that they had a good experience working with a representative of the Utilities company in Colorado Springs. I always made sure to make my installs clean and leave the site clean when I was finished working. I also learned about some troubleshooting of activating meters and figuring out why meters were not activating. Doing the appointments I also got a lot of experience with safely exchanging meters and having to problem solve changing meters (primary gas and water) that were in difficult spots to get to. Finally in this job I Gained a lot of experience observing and making sure that the infrastructure of the gas/water/ electrical meters and electrical lines were in safe and appropriate conditions and taking the proper safety precautions if they were not and making sure they were reported.
