Summary

Hello, I am a senior nursing student from a small town in southeastern Colorado. Wanting to be a nurse has been a dream of mine for a long time. My mom, aunt, grandma, and great-grandma are amazing and selfless nurses whom I look up to greatly. Not only do I want this career to be like them but I feel I have an immense calling to love and care for others, and what a better way to pursue that than to pursue a career in nursing? I am applying to this new-grad residency program because even though I have been working with my LPN for a couple months and am slowly becoming more comfortable in my skills, I am eager to take my nursing knowledge to the next level. I pride myself in learning quickly and am always ready to learn something new. Always being positive, always willing to help someone out, working well under pressure, always honest about shortcomings, and never afraid to ask a question are some of the reasons I believe you should consider me for this position. I will graduate with my RN in May of this year and hope to take my NCLEX as soon as I can after. Thank you for your time and for considering me to become apart of your team.
