I'm a dedicated machinist with a proven track record in mill setup, process troubleshooting, and employee training. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills have consistently contributed to enhanced production efficiency and quality.
I couldn't imagine filling out a resume with AI inputting all of my duties and responsibilities. Guess I'm old school.
My whole life I had the best role models a kid could ask for. My mother was a stay at home mom while she was going to college to become a teacher. Teaching us everything we needed to know all summer break to prepare for the next school year. While my father gave his all everyday to support his family. I used to love visiting my dad (Ray Mihalko Jr) at work when I could. He worked at Magnum Tool with his father (Ray Mihalko Sr). Since I was young I wanted to be a machinist like the men in my family. I graduated Doherty High School in 2006. My first job was a concrete laborer and soon to be a concrete finisher on Fort Carson for NNR Enterprises. Where I stayed until 2010 when my dad asked me to come to Magnum with him. I did and got to work with him for the next 15 years. As we changed to become Relius Medical, then again to (currently) Eptam Precision. I started out in their 5th axis mill cell. I ran a lot of production jobs while I became one of the main mill setup guys on 3, 4, and 5th axis mills. My favorite is when we'd get new jobs or new machinery and I'd work with engineering to debug and prove out new processes. In 2013 I met the best woman in the world and married her in in 2017. Four kids later...... I'm taking care of my family like how I was raised. I've bounced around all 3 shifts to take care of my kids when I had to. While 1st shift is the current and most desired shift now that they are older. There'd be times where we'd get slow in the mill cells. So I'd learn different machines from what I was familar with. I have experience running wire EDMs, ECGs, laser lathes, and very little experience with manual mills or lathes. Always giving 100% into everything that I do. Making sure everything is deburred and made according to print. I love working with my fellow employees and am always willing to help anyone in need. For the last couple years it seems as if my job is to do setups on any mill or on laser lathes and handing them off for others to run. Training new employees and helping with anything that needs to be done. My work recently tried giving me a computer to start programming. While I'd love to learn that side of things. I'm not for one to sit at a computer all day. I enjoy working with my hands and working with the people on the floor. So I did decline, but I bought a computer at home. So I can learn to become a better machinist. I love the place I'm at and wanted to retire there. But unfortunately certain circumstances unfolded and I'm forced to look elsewhere. I am anxious for my next opportunity and chapter in my life. As I am a very proud person and believe in going to work everyday and giving my all!
