I came on board Regis University in August of 2008.
I worked as a technician with Field Technology team.
We managed faculty/staff PCs, Macs, and printing,
Our challenges at the time were integration of Apple devices, PC security, mobile devices, and classroom support.
I assume the role of interim manager for Field Technology in the summer of 2016.
At this time, I began to manage ITS purchasing, facilitated the PC refresh project and we began to support classroom technology.
I managed ITS purchasing until I joined the Network/Telecom team in March of 2019.
Later in 2016, our team was rebranded and received a new Director, and I became Desktop Administration Supervisor.
Our focus was implementing SCCM, particularly for imaging, virtualization of endpoints, and a larger PC replacement project.
After I moved to the Network/Telecom team Regis suffered a massive Cyber-attack.
I worked with the team to get phones working and provide limited online access.
During my time with Network/Telecom we upgraded our network environment with Meraki equipment.
This included configuring and deploying switches and Wireless Access Points.
In addition, we upgraded our phones with AudioCodes and deployed AudioCodes Gateways for emergency analog line.
We launched 911Inform emergency call platform and migrated from Microsoft Skype to Microsoft Teams.
In 2023 I began working more with the Systems team, frequently working on account and identity management, onboarding, offboarding, and name changes.
Because I live 4 blocks from campus, I have been an unofficial on-call person since 2016.
I have worked with both Carl Straka and Eder Garcia for several years and I'm quite familiar with the Regis campuses and the Regis community.
