As a Carrier Sales Representative, I am responsible for managing the end-to-end carrier engagement and freight booking process. This includes handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, negotiating rates, securing capacity, and ensuring timely tracking and delivery of shipments. I leverage industry platforms such as DAT and Truckstop to source reliable carriers and optimize load movement in a fast-paced logistics environment. I specialize in coordinating a wide range of equipment types, including flatbed, hotshot, straight truck, step deck, and RGNs, ensuring flexibility and efficiency across diverse freight needs.

My role focuses on ensuring the smooth and timely movement of equipment across the United States. I work with a variety of transport units, including dry vans, reefer units, flatbeds, and heavy hauls, which operate across the four regions of the country.

From the start to the end of my shift, I track and monitor the status of all units, ensuring that those already loaded are accounted for and identifying which ones still need to be loaded. I also keep a close eye on the delivery process, managing the flow of units to their respective destinations. Time is critical in this line of work, so when delays occur, I conduct thorough follow-ups to gather key details and identify solutions. My goal is to minimize downtime by addressing issues promptly—whether it’s speeding up the loading process or troubleshooting delays at delivery locations, ensuring drivers are back on the road as quickly as possible.

During my afterhours shift, I was responsible for tracking dry van and reefer units as they moved through key regions of the United States, including the East Coast, Midwest, and parts of Texas. My primary focus was ensuring shipments were delivered on time and within the scheduled appointment window. Weather and road conditions often posed challenges, requiring proactive follow-up and communication to keep all parties informed about the status of shipments en route.

Once a truck was unloaded, my next priority was securing a new load. Using DAT, I identified available options, then engaged in negotiations with brokers to ensure the best possible rate and scheduling. Ultimately, decisions were made based on optimizing both cost efficiency and delivery timelines.

Responsible for managing and supervising maintenance of Hitachi trucks and excavators, in accordance with equipment operating principles and predefined maintenance plans.

Creation of manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks software. Additionally, based on established models, static and fatigue condition simulations were parametrized.
