Maria Paula Benjumea Serrano

I am a Civil and Environmental Engineer with a solid academic background, including a Master's degree in Civil Engineering. Throughout my professional career, I have acquired key skills such as effective communication, innovation and a deep understanding of engineering principles.
My experience includes an important role in document management and administrative tasks as a graduate administrative assistant in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Universidad de Los Andes, this position allowed me to interact with administrative and teaching peers, and acquire skills to obtain information and key inputs from the different stakeholders involved.
Additionally, I have valuable experience in the public sector and in higher education. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching future engineers and working in the public sector, where I have led sustainable infrastructure projects and managed resources in highly demanding environments.
With a high level academic background and diverse experience, I also have an excellent capacity for writing and reviewing technical reports, both in Spanish and English, facilitating communication with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory authorities.
Finally, I highlight, my dynamism, my commitment and my great motivation for continuous learning and the acquisition of new skills.
