At Ability Advocates, our mission as DSPs is to integrate our clients into the community by taking them out on activities (Bowling, Rec Center, Movies, Mesa Mall, Museums, etc.). I also run a cooking class for my clients to have affordable, gut-healthy, and beginner-friendly meals. My other responsibility is maintaining the sanitization and cleanliness of our building and vehicles.
During my time at the Residence, I assisted with the resident's ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), maintained detailed documentation on resident's activity, incidents, and progress, and upheld timely check-ins/pages with my residents, while ensuring the facility's policies and procedures.
Home Goods rotated positions weekly. I would fulfill the Greeter position. As a Cashier I performed cash, card, and check transactions to complete customer purchases
while checking prices, applying discounts, and label/remake tags. I also worked to meet special targets for credit card applications and special donations. Backroom and Flow I would use the in-store system to locate inventory and merchandise new products in visually appealing and organized displays. I processed boxes promptly and built furniture when necessary. I have also participated in Inventory days.
