Lorie's Socks. A nonprofit charity that I started in Wisconsin and moved to Colorado. This charity was started to help people experiencing homelessness get items or services they need. It started with simply giving out socks to this population and grew to receiving any items a client may need in their homeless camp. The nonprofit in Colorado grew from needed items to helping any person that may need inpatient rehab get the services they need. With this charity, I go where my clients can be found. This includes but is not limited to drug houses, homeless camps, under bridges, homeless shelter, transitional housing, sober living, back alleys and any other place clients may be found.
