Administer screening tools to youth under 18 who were in the custody of law enforcement and had been accused of committing a crime to determine the need for placement in detention facilities, group homes, or other Division of Youth Correction placements.

Communicate and coordinate with local law enforcement in Prowers, Kiowa, Baca, and Cheyenne counties.

Secure bed space for youth in need of placement.

Identify, problem-solve, and reduce barriers to access to primary care, dental health, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and specialty care.

Coordinate between primary care and behavioral health services.

Provide on-site support, triage, and referrals for behavioral health in a medical clinic.

Provide education and support to medical professionals and patients in the clinic setting.

Administered GED (General Education Development) and TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) to students seeking their GED diplomas.

Direct the day-to-day operation of the Early Intervention Program by coordinating with contracted providers, parents and families, and community agencies such as the Department of Public Health and Southeastern BOCES.

Direct the day-to-day operation of the Family Support Program by leading support committee meetings, fundraising, event planning, and support fund allocation.

Manage support services provided to children and families on the Children's Extensive Support Waiver, including managing contracts with providers, paying providers, and coordinating needed services with parents and case managers.

Conducted initial interviews, assessments, and diagnoses of clients seeking behavioral health treatment.

Timely documentation of intake information into electronic health records.

Phone triage is for clients seeking help to determine immediate need, lethality risk, and the path of services required.

Conducted crisis evaluation for lethality and grave disability, both walk-in and back-up to mobile crisis team.

Managed and supervised the administrative and day-to-day operations of Prowers County Youth Center according to regulations from the Department of Youth Corrections and Child Care licensing.

Provided care coordination between parents, behavioral health, department of human services, 15th and 16th judicial district probation, and other agencies and services involved in the care of the youth.

Coordinated and provided transportation for youth to school, medical, dental, behavioral health, and other appointments.
