Hi, my name is Kylie! I have great people skills, and a drive to work hard and learn more. A quick learner who's not afraid to ask questions to ensure things are done right. Excited to work and grow within a team, and take on new challenges with a positive attitude.
It's super fun to put together the cafe' drinks. I make them very pretty and just right! Greeting people and wishing them a good day as they come and go is refreshing, and serving is even better. I love meeting people and seeing all kinds of personalities! I have also gained some MOD experience working with Le Peep.
As a head lifeguard, I was fully trained and certified with all the standard lifeguard necessities; BSL, swimming skills, etc. But, I was also seen as a lower end manager of the lifeguards and the pool. Tasked with making sure all chemicals and pools were running right, making sure the lifeguards system was good for the shift, and helping and patron.
Here I would open and close the store as needed, including handling the cash drawers and deposits. Helping to ensure the store was cleaned and organized. Helping customers and doing the ear piercings was always fun.
The owners of the store were amazing and we all treated each other as family. There was a lot of keeping up around the store. We would deal with deliveries, stocking, down stocking, cleaning, the register, helping customers, organizing, etc. There were many different kinds of people that would come and go; people skills were very important.
Here you are pretty much always on your toes; satisfying customers, keeping up with dishes, ensuring stock, cleaning, etc. I gained a lot of my people skills with Waffle house.
Oh my first job, what a time to think about! This is where my learning first began and I started to acquire my people skills. Greeting customers as they come in and happily getting them to their tables, and wishing them well as they left. I loved to help out around the building as much as possible. Cleaning and sometimes running food. It was a good time.
