Hello! Design is what I am passionate about, what I love, and what I excel in. I have my Associate's in interior design, and over 5 years of design experience, including close to 2 years of working for a luxury custom home builder. I love the process of full home custom design, including everything from the major architectural details that define the style of the home, to selecting finishes, fixtures, and furnishings, down to the smallest table top accessory. I also enjoy problem solving and coming up with creative ways to make spaces functional so they meet the clients needs. Seeing the finished product come together, and a happy homeowner, is what makes me proud to do what I do.

- Calculated take-offs for flooring upgrades (adding LVP in place of standard carpet)
- Updated the homeowners CAD plans in real time as they made selections and upgrades during their design appointment
- Kept track of all upgrades and associated cost via change orders
- Stayed within the homeowners budget by keeping track of the running job total during our design appointment
- Documented the homeowners selections on spec sheets and an excel document that our trades access during the build process
- Submitted the selections documents for Redlines/corrections, then uploaded to DocuSign for client signature
- When needed, contacted homeowners after their appointments to reselect finishes when original product became discontinued or pushed out

- Worked alongside custom home builders to design a house for the annual Parade of Homes
- Measured the interior of the customers home, and sketched their floor plans on site
- Transferred the floorplans to Auto CAD to space plan the rooms
- Assembled design boards using Design Files to provide the customer with a visual aid
- Created color palettes and mixed patterns using a variety of materials to create a cohesive and well-designed space
- Used the La-Z-Boy 3D Room Planner program to create a 3D rendering of their space
- Presented the designs and floorplans to the client in the store
