Summary
Over the last nine years I have worked in 4 different schools all with students with a wide range of disabilities. I started out in Indiana in an all inclusive school and eventually switched to their preschool director the last year I was there. Upon moving back to New York I started back in a gen Ed setting in a 12-1-1 room but felt I could make a difference back in the special education setting. I quickly found my place at Boces in 2022 and have worked there until October of 2024. I currently have a strong skill set in working with children with autism, ADD and ADHD. I have experience with picture schedules, first then schedules and as a one to one instructor. I am QBS trained and have knowledge of how to enter data and collect data for students with BIPs and IEPs. I currently am a certified behavior tech at an elementary school working one on one with a 6th grade student. I currently live in Hawaii, and have obtained my RBT certification and QBS certification. I am also a full time college student working towards becoming a Board certified behavior analysts.
