I have been nominated for the Apple Award for DCSD twice.

The Apple Awards is a celebratory night for staff members from all over the district and it is an award that is like an employee of the year award of sorts. Everyone that is nominated is nominated by staff and parents of the community. Being nominated twice in the 14 years that I've been with the school district. I feel very passionate about the job that I do and I take it very seriously. I feel like I was nominated twice due to the amount of effort that I put into building relationships with the staff, community and the students of the school.
