Provides support to maintain the WSOMS Engineering Support Laboratory at the contractor facility for performance of engineering analysis, testing, problem investigation, and troubleshooting. Ensures laboratory configurations constantly parallel those in the WSOC and SSCs and be sufficiently robust to be used for analysis of system, IA, LAN, and WAN research and troubleshooting. Performs configuration management, reconfigures equipment for testing, and maintains a continuous record of work performed in the laboratories. Provides In-Plant guidance and coordination for contract performance in various technical areas.

• Serves as a technical resource for contractor staff and military personnel in addressing hardware and software issues for operation functions and equipment.
• Maintains a consumable budget, under projected costs for the last 14 years, and meets a 99% availability of all on-site equipment.
• Researched and delivered a technical document to local commanders outlining the functions of the WSOC and its organizational relationships.
• Developed and implemented a new hire contractor training process, which allowed training of not only local site personnel, but also personnel at additional sites.
• Developed On-the-Job Training (OJT) for the customer, which was implemented battalion-wide.
• This program serves two purposes: contractor evaluation and customer training.
• The program ensures continuity, increases proficiency, and improves customer service.
• The Site Manager acts as a primary contract technical liaison with contractor technical experts, representatives of other contractors, and US Government personnel as directed by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
• Supervises and provides backup for site personnel.
• Ensures equipment and services are functioning properly to meet mission requirements.

• Identified and corrected issues with new WSOMS Workstation during network upgrade.
• Led the site team in supporting the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) cutover.
• Provided network upgrade support to JSEC by identifying an RSCCE database issue, and implemented the resolution for Fort Detrick and Landsthul locations.
• Provided and supported site contingency plans.
