- Led my team in designing and installing an Actiflo post coagulant dose system, saving the district an estimated $630,000.
- Led a multi million dollar multi Pump Station rehabilitation and upgrade project. I was heavily involved in the initial budgeting and design process, as well as contractor selection. I was acting district project manager and coordinated active shutdowns and bypasses to our system during the project. Attended weekly progress meetings and coordinated work in a way that minimized risk and down time to Pump Station operation.
- Led several coagulant pilot tests to improve overall treatment.
- Worked hand in hand with the Field Superintendent to develop a flushing and response plan when doing a Free Chlorine chlorine burn in a Monochloramine system.
- Developed a nitrification prevention plan to keep dead ends and "problem" pressure zones in check.
- Heavily involved as acting district project manager in replacing four Lift Station pumps across several years.
- Implements chemical and operational changes to maintain appropriate water quality targets.
- Orders and maintains proper chemical levels and equipment parts.
- Conducts and trains operators on all WTP maintenance items.
