  • Perform DPE (Demilitarization Protective Ensemble) & Level C entries into toxic/hazardous environments to include confined spaces to manage hazardous and contaminated waste
  • Understand and communicate Conduct of Operations concepts and standards, permits and regulations and Standing Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
  • Utilize Excel spreadsheets and Word processing programs to track hazardous waste, also HMMS (Hazardous Material Management System)
  • Consistently demonstrate ability to work in a procedural, environmental and safety compliant setting, continuously maintain composure and make decisions during upset plant/entry conditions or unforeseen conditions
  • Perform tasks associated with driving a variety of PITs (Powered Industrial Truck) forklift, and Class A CDL vehicles and have HazMat Endorsement.
  • Experience in working in multiple level of dress to include all personal protective clothing (PPE) and equipment and different climate conditions, fitness for duty standards met consistently
  • Able to work overtime hours, shift schedule and arrive punctually with positive attendance record.
  • Work closely and safely with explosives during inspections, hazardous waste to include inspection, storage, identification, loading, disposal and containerization of varying chemicals, batteries, lead contaminated metals, munitions, other hazardous waste streams in permitted waste and regulated areas.
