Responsible for overlooking the parks in the City of Grand Junction, CO. With daily task involving cleaning and maintenance of facilities, trashes, and graffiti removal. However, it is also common to aid other departments with large events, or handle more complex assigned maintenance.

Sorted mail and packages for delivery on routes, working two normal routes to fill in for regular carriers, and covering any other call outs for any routes. While delivering mail & packages, keep everything sorted for ease of access and speed. While keeping track of all delivered packages with the use of a handheld scanner and customer signatures. Was expected to work 6-7 days with a 8+ hour shift, while filling in for unfamiliar routes.

Unloaded trucks with pallet jacks and sorted packages for later processing. Along with handling freight using equipment such as forklifts, walkie stackers, and other powered equipment.

Also worked on unpacking and displaying product on shelves with the night crew. Being trusted with manager level responsibilities while waiting for an open overnight management position to open up.

Trained new employees on all positions, shifts, and requirements, along with aiding management with crew issues. In addition preformed maintenance on all equipment, and tracked service records.
