I enjoy the outdoors and many realms of athletic endeavors (hiking, biking, climbing, rafting, etc.) I love to read, learn, and expand myself as much as possible. Traveling abroad has given me a cohesive view of the world and I savor every opportunity to travel. I enjoy linguistics/etymology and I have an interest in many languages. I have a deep interest in nature as well as the nature of one's self. I have studied martial arts, tai-chi, yoga, and various other body movement practices. I have a passion for music and art. I relish playing a new instrument or exploring a different medium. I delight in the silence of meditation and self-contemplation. Giving my time and energy to the people around me has led to a deep relationship with those in my community. I started a program three years ago called 'Hot-Hands for the Homeless.' In the colder seasons, I pass out hand-warmers to the homeless. I love to be of service to others!
