- I began work in IKEA as a customer service co-worker, where as part of my role I processed returns for customers, answered general queries for customers, arranged furniture delivery and assisted customers with delivery and product issues.
- In 2020, I became a supervisor in the customer service department and took on many additional roles. I trained and managed staff within the department and managed the processing of online returns. Maintained accurate records of customer interactions, followed up and provided solutions using CRM systems. I liaised with other departments within the store to solve customer’s issues, and to identify any operational issues and ensure seamless operation of the store and website.
- At the beginning the COVID-19 pandemic, I was one of 40 employees who volunteered to remain in the store to assist with online order fulfillment operations. I carried out many additional tasks during this period: picking, packaging and loading deliveries, and liaising with customers over the phone.
