  • Responsible for supervising 45 maintenance employees, serving as the CDOT representative in the Snow and Ice conference committee and TIMS traffic management teams, and overseeing the overall maintenance and operations of the King area at Region 4
  • My role involves ensuring safe travel for the public by using preservation techniques to extend the life of CDOT's assets through asset management and understanding asset conditions
  • I also have direct control over planning, developing, scheduling, initiating, administering, and managing the maintenance and operations for all major activity groups of the Maintenance Management System for the assigned geographical area and surrounding areas
  • This includes planning, training, roadway surfacing, roadside structures, roadside appearance, traffic services, structure maintenance, snow and ice control, material, equipment, buildings, and tunnel activities
  • I make decisions to plan, develop, administer, and manage programs, guidelines, rules, standards, budgets, personnel, equipment, buildings and grounds, contracts, rest areas, and emergency response incidents
