Airport Operations

• Complete daily,weekly,monthly and quarterly inspections of airfield to stay on compliance with Part 139.
• Working with operations team to ensure each inspections completed meets all requirements and safety requirements for each individual inspection.
• Maintain knowledge of all FAA rules and regulations that comply with San Luis Valley Regional Airport.
• Ensure that all lighting system and Nav Aids are maintenanced and working properly.

• Log all work orders and inspections in Aerosimple software to stay compliant with part 139.
• Communicating with FAA for all necessary maintenance needed on airfield
• Issue Notams to keep all pilots aware of runway conditions.

Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting

• Responded promptly to aircraft emergencies with efficient firefighting techniques.
• Complete daily safety inspections of firefighting equipment and vehicles.
• Participate in fire training and simulated drills to ensure readiness and meet FAA regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on firefighting equipment such as hoses, nozzles, pumps and breathing apparatus.
• Cover all commercial flights with 2 ARFF personnel to meet all part 139 FAA regulations.
• Keep records of all ALS Air Carrier Operations for FAA.
