At Treasure, I enjoyed an opportunity to join the company early (as employee #3 and the first engineering hire) and to continuously play a player-coach role, building the engineering team while also providing support as a principal software architect and platform engineer.

• Completed implementation of a trading system integrating with a digital custodial brokerage (Apex Clearing).
• Designed, built, deployed, and maintained a robo-advisory platform responsible for money-movement and investment of millions of dollars a month and took the company from 0 assets under management to over 300m in less than 2 years.
• Mentored engineers on software engineering best practices, software architectural approaches, and career development.
• Established and led the Platform practice at Treasure, maintaining all applications and infrastructure on GPC with Kubernetes, and utilizing tools such as Terraform, CircleCI, SonarQube, Vault, etc. to manage a microservice platform of 20+ services with 1.5 engineers.
• Led the implementation of trunk-based development and multiple deployments to production a day (from once a month).
• Led the technical side of the SOC2 certification process, certifying the company in under 2 months.
