- Hired on in Cheyenne Wyoming in May of 2011
- Worked on an I&M crew erecting substations for 6 months
- Transferred to Montrose in the fall of 2011 to pursue the line side and completed a 4-year apprenticeship
- Completed the apprenticeship in the spring of 2015
- After working as a lineman for a few years I began to take on various roles such as Live line trainer and rope access manager
- I sat as the chair on the safety committee for two years
- I have led in various situations in the field on construction projects and storm jobs
- I have been a part of TDMMA (Transmission & Distribution Maintenance Management Association) steering committee for the past six years
- Also I have spent the last several years as part of the Esmol subcommittee with IEEE
