  • Developed, iterated, tested, and improved upon historical training models, to create a physical prototype that incorporates the iliac arch for the Philip’s laser catheter ‘THOR’ within NPI that utilizes lithotripsy and atherectomy to be demonstrated during physician training. Utilized Solidworks, 3D printing, and finalized with GD&T drawings.
  • Collaborated with marketing, manufacturing, R&D quality, and clinical teammates to understand model requirements.
  • Researched, formulated and evaluated various alternative materials to mimic vasculature lesions to improve atherectomy device demonstrations to be more clinically relevant.
  • Completed technical documentation and usability reports to support R&D development efforts.
  • Developed a design verification protocol, performed benchtop testing, and reported statistics for a project optimizing Philips’s Laser System that impacted the understanding of an intravascular catheter to break clinically simulated calcium based on specified product requirements.
