- Reports to the Division Engineer for legal orders that may pertain to undecreed diversions of surface water and other issues.
- Controls and regulates the distribution of water from streams and rivers to numerous water diversion structures, primarily ditches and reservoirs.
- Determines release and proper assessment of transit losses through the stream system, including replacement calculations for evaporation to protect direct flow water rights.
- Monitors structures and applies the priority system and hydrologic factors within the district.
