From participating weekly in the First Friends program at the African Community Center with my family, to mentoring middle school students as a Young Life leader in inner-city Denver, I have consistently invested in supporting and uplifting others. My college internship with Homeboy Industries, focused on gang rehabilitation, further deepened my dedication to restorative work and community impact.
Alongside my passion for service, I developed a strong foundation in business through observing and contributing to multiple family-owned ventures. This experience cultivated an entrepreneurial mindset and operational awareness at an early age. Creatively, I express my strengths through design and event planning, blending organization, aesthetics, and meaningful experiences.
I am seeking a role where I can integrate my background in community engagement, business, and design to contribute to a mission-driven organization I deeply care about, such as Hope Haven.
Supported staff in daily operations at Homeboy Industries -the world's largest gang rehabilitation, re-entry, and job training program, based in Los Angeles and founded by Fr. Gregory Boyle, S.J. in 1988. It provides formerly gang-involved and incarcerated individuals with a community of support, offering free services like mental health counseling, legal aid, and tattoo removal, alongside employment in social enterprises.
