Shadowed doctors and nurses at an orthopedic hospital in the city of Ho Chi Minh. I spent most of my time in the OR attaching EKGs and observing surgeries, as well as assisting nurses in post-op with dressings and cleanings. This gave me a perspective on the drastic differences in healthcare between first and third world countries, and a huge appreciation for all healthcare workers despite their resources or environment.
