  • Provide safety consulting services to areas within Material Logistics & Fleet which include recognition, evaluation and recommendations designed to minimize deficiencies and ensure safety compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop effective safety and health programs and annual safety action plans in partnership with respective managers and supervisors. Align these plans across the various (8) states.
  • Developed and implemented fall protection, human performance improvement (HPI), job safety analysis (JSA) throughout company. The Human Performance Improvement (HPI) program is 3-pronged approach, 1) reduce errors, 2) manage defenses and barriers, which leads to 3) prevention of unwanted/unexpected outcomes and events.
  • Conduct field observations with stores and fleet employees to include: recognize, monitor and make recommendations related to at risk behaviors and safety hazards.   • Support incident investigations covering personal injuries and vehicle incident. This is conducted by first report of injury/incident reports and follow up analysis to determine root causes.
  • Partner with corporate safety covering Driver Safety, Ergonomics, Event Learning for Incident Events, and Safety Program Reviews/Updates
